| Set
the Time |
-
From
a System Featurephone, press SPEAKER
key and dial code 828
-
Enter
the new time in 24-hour format (i.e.
for half-past two in the afternoon,
enter 1430).
-
Press
the SPEAKER key to finish.
Setting
the system time (as above) will update
the telephone system and all telephones,
you can also set the time/date from the
Admin Pro PC facility.

Transfer |

(Whilst
on a call), press the TRANSFER
key

Dial
the required phone number (internal
or external)
-
(when
answered), announce the call and
hang-up to transfer.
You
can press 6 after dialling a
colleagues extension to transfer the
call to their voice mailbox. If
your telephone has one-touch (Speed
Dial) keys for other extension users,
you can press the required key rather
than dialling the number.
If
transferring the call to an external
phone number, you should dial 9
or press an available LINE/TRUNK
key before dialling the telephone number
(you can also use pre-programmed Speed
Dial keys).
If the
called party does not answer or you wish
to return to the external call you can
press the flashing LINE/TRUNK key
(or flashing ANSWER or PARK
HOLD key) as relevant for your
telephone.
Standard
phone users should use the [R] Recall
key in place of the Transfer key.

Hold |

(Whilst
on a call), press the HOLD
key and hang-up.

To
retrieve the held call, lift handset
and press the flashing LINE/TRUNK
key (or flashing PARK or ANSWER
key).
While an external call is on System or Park Hold, other extension users may be able take the call off hold
via the flashing red LINE-key or PARK
HOLD-key.
For internal calls on hold, press
FEATURE-key to retrieve.
Standard phone users should press
[R] Recall key and stay off-hook (exclusive hold), the call can be retrieved
by pressing the [R] Recall key again.

If
you are going to be absent from your
desk for a time, you can logout of your
department hunt-group and then login
again on your return, System
Featurephones can have a key programmed for this
facility if required, the key will be
lit when you are logged out of the
group.
Group
Logout - Lift handset and dial
service code 750 - 1, hang-up.
Group
Login - Lift handset and dial
service code 750 - 0, hang-up.
Note:
Your telephone will be automatically
logged-out from a department group if
you set personal features such as call
forwarding (including Vmail) or do not disturb.

DND Options to stop your telephone from ringing:

Press the
PROG softkey followed by the
DND softkey.

Select
SET or CNCL (Cancel) softkey as required.

To set DND, select an option (External calls, Internal calls, All or Call Forwards/Transfers).
Standard
phone users should use code 847 +

| Conference
Call |

Conference Call allows you to join multiple external and internal callers in a conversation.
-
(Whilst on a call), press the
CONF soft-key.
-
(Display will show ICM Dial), dial the extension number you want to add or dial
9 and dial outside telephone number.

When called party answers, press the
ADD softkey to add them to the conference call.
-
(Display will show ICM Dial), you can either
press the BEGIN softkey to start the conference call or
dial additional extension numbers or external numbers as per step 2.

your system administrator to learn more.

Reset
your telephone to clear all features including DND and Call Forwarding.

Lift handset and dial
720 (Wait for beep before hanging up).

the Directory (Speedials) |
|
Make a call to a System Speedial (Common Abbreviated
Dials - ABB):
-
Press the
DIR (Directory) softkey then press the
ABB softkey.
-
Press the
DOWN softkey (or use the NAVIGATION key) to scroll through the list OR using the
dialpad – enter the first few letters to search for a name followed by the
UP softkey to scroll through matching name entries.

Press the
DIAL softkey to make a call to a displayed name.
Alternatively if you know the 3-digit index (000-999), you can press the
NAVIGATION key to the left and dial the index-number to preview the speedial entry, lift the handset to start a call.
Standard phone users should dial
feature-code 813 + the 3-digit speedial index
(000-999).

| Change
Extension Name |

Extension
names can be changed using the NEC
SV8100 administrative utility 'Admin Pro' or
usually remotely by ToneTel telecom
support.
You
can also usually change extension names using an
NEC Featurephone:
-
Press the
SPEAKER key and dial feature-code
800.
-
Dial the Extension number
(ICM Dial).
-
Enter the new Extension name using the alphanumeric telephone dialpad.
-
Press the
HOLD key to confirm the name, then the
SPEAKER key to finish.

Voicemail |
|
The
configuration of your voicemail system
depends on the type of telephone you are
using and whether you are using a
personal or company mailbox.
Features and codes may differ between
systems.
