Extension billing is a very useful but little known application when you need to understand your call cost expenditure better, identify misuse or if you need to bill other companies or guest users who are using your extension telephones. 

Call costs on your monthly phone bill can be broken down into individual extension users or departments (cost centre codes). If you are sharing your phone system, extension billing is ideal as users can be billed individually or by company.

How Much does Extension Billing Cost?
The service is normally free but is dependant on a compatible phone system and network provider who can support the service.  ToneTel telecom can supply and install a phone system and arrange your network services (Phone Lines) to ensure the service is free of charge.  If you already have a business telephone system and it is a product we support we can advise you on whether it supports extension billing and what is needed to enable the service.

What extra software or boxes need to be installed?
None.  Compatible telephone systems will pass all the necessary information to the network provider.  If your current telephone system or provider will not support the service, ToneTel telecom can advise on and implement a network and phone system solution that will - and that can meet your budget.

Call Logging Software (SMDR) 

We can also supply and install call logging software (the most common option) so you can review up to the minute call records (as calls are completed) of who is answering the most calls, how many calls were missed etc.
