BT Ultimate 106 -
Setting the date and time
The BT Ultimate 106 will have its date and time
set automatically by receipt of an incoming call if you are using Caller
Display Service.
- Open the lower cover on the Ultimate 106
system unit, set the small slide switch on the right to Program mode.
- From the programming position (Ext 11), pick
up the handset and dial 73 # (hash).
- Enter the time in 24-hour format,
followed by the # (hash) key. (For example enter 5.45 PM as
1745 #).
- The system will announce the time setting,
then hang-up the handset.
- Pick up the handset on Ext 11 again and dial
74 # (hash).
- Enter the date in the format DDMMYY,
followed by the # (hash) key. (For example DD (Date
01-31), MM (Month 01-12), YY (Year 02 etc).
- The system will announce the date setting,
then hang-up the handset.
- Set slide switch on system unit back to Normal
mode and replace the cover.

Turning Extension Mailbox On/Off
From extension, pick up handset and dial 81 #
(hash), then hang-up to turn mailbox on.
To turn mailbox off, from extension, pick up the
handset and dial 82 # (hash), then hang-up.
(After a power failure, all extension mailboxes
(if in use) will be off).

Divert all Calls:
Dial 4 - Extension to be diverted to (1-6) -[enter 1 for Extn 11,
2 for Extn 12 etc] - # - hang-up

Review Calling Numbers
To review the
telephone numbers that have called into the system, Caller Display must be
activated from your network service provider.

Using Voicemail
If new messages have been received in your
extension mailbox, the dialtone will change to a higher pitch when you lift
the handset.
Press 7 to play your messages. If you
have no messages the system will announce "No messages",
otherwise it will announce "you have X messages",
the messages will then be played.
Options during messages playback:

Caller ID - Associating Names and
Numbers
If you have subscribed to Caller Display service
from your network service provider, you have the option to set caller ID
announcements to speak a recorded name rather than a number. The name
and number is recorded in your system speedial list of 50 memories.
- From any extension, dial code (6), you
will hear announcement "record name".
- Speak the required name, after 3 secs you will
hear announcement "Enter 2-digit location and number".
(To shorten length of recorded name, press the RECALL (R) key while
recording).
- Enter 2-digit location (01-50) and full
telephone number including STD Code. (Example to store ToneTel in
location field 01 - enter 01 01483578456).
- Hang-up extension to finish.
Note: To hear recorded names on incoming
calls announcements, your Extension Caller ID options needs to be set at 3
or 4.
