| Muted/Distorted
Ring (Systemphone) |
| The
BT Revelation ringing tone can be
adjusted by the Tone Ringer 3-position
slider switch on the left-hand side of
the telephone.
The ringer volume
can be adjusted by pressing the key
labelled RINGER to the left-hand side of
the telephone keypad and then pressing
the Volume Up/Down keys to adjust to the
desired setting, press the RINGER key
again to switch the ringing off.
A
common problem often found on Revelation
Systemphones that have been in storage
or not in use for some time is that the
ringing tone is crackly or distorted,
check that the 3-position slider switch
is fully in one of the 3-positions and
adjust as required, then ring the phone
by making an intercom call and/or by
using the RINGER key and adjust the
volume, normally after a minute or two
of ringing the ringing tone will revert
to normal.
Sometimes this
procedure needs to be carried 2 or 3
times to alleviate the problem.
