BT Pathway Phone System

The BT Pathway is a basic small business telephone system, originally designed for companies requiring a PBX for 2-8 lines with up to 18 x extension telephones.

The BT Pathway was discontinued for new supply in 2006 but spares and upgrades are still available using second-user and/or refurbished parts, additionally ToneTel telecom can provide the full range of aftercare services including system moves, installation, maintenance, expansion and configuration changes.

ToneTel Tech Comments:

A good basic phone system which has a few years left in it, ideal to connect up a few analogue lines and several telephone extensions.

Its easy to use, fairly reliable with most common call handling features, however it lacks the flexibility of today's advanced small business telephone systems.

The BT Pathway has a starting size of 2 x lines and 6 x extensions and can be expanded up to 8 x analogue lines (or 8-channels of ISDN2e) with up to 18 x phone extensions.  

Standard telephones (including cordless) or the BT Pathway system featurephone can be connected.  The BT Pathway system featurephones makes the system very easy to use and is ideal for receptionist/operators and high volume phone users.
